June is the Best month for Women Golfers!

Have you ever tried to introduce a female friend or relative to the wonderful word of golf, only to be given a handful of excuses as to why they’re not ready to share your love of the game? I’m sure a few of the excuses you may have heard is that their intimidated by it all or perhaps the cost of picking up a new sport is hindering them, and of course one of the biggest excuse you’ve heard is probably that they just don’t have the time. Just like any sport, if you’ve never done it before, it can be intimidating. You don’t know all of the rules and etiquette of the game, how to properly utilize the equipment, even knowing what to wear can be daunting task if you’ve never done it before.

That means participating golf courses and retail shops are giving free lessons (any level) and special discounts all over the country. This is really great for all women golfers, but it may just be your secret weapon to tip the scale in your favor to drag Miss apprehensive to the course. And, once she’s there realizing what makes golf such an amazing sport, I’m positive she’ll miraculously find the time to do it again and again… There’s no better time to be a woman golfer (beginner or novice) than June!
